Dual Foam Bath. As per ASTM D 892, ASTM D6082,IP146, DIN 5156. Foam Bath is used for determining foaming characteristics of lubricating oils as per ASTM D-892, ASTM D6082 ,IP-146, DIN 51566 test method. Construction– Inner bath made glass, outer body made of acrylic. Circulation system – Heavy duty capacitor run motor along with stirrer to help maintain uniform temperature across bath media. Heater – immersion heater fitted to help achieve above ambient temperature. Heater connected to PID output heater wiring done using Teflon coated cable. Temperature controller & instrumentation – fully automatic microprocessor based PID controller having feather touch key board. Display indicating temperature with resolution of 0.1°C . The controller is having splash proof membrane with PT -100 sensors. Salient feature : •2 Test bath. One bath maintains 24°C and Second Bath maintains 93.5°C •Efficient stirrer system for excellent temperature uniformity in the bath. •Unit is designed for temperature accuracy 0.2°C •Bath 1 Temperature range : 15.0 to 40.00 °C (require circulation bath to maintain 24° C ) •Bath 2 Temperature range : 38.0 to 120.0 °C •Cylindrical metal diffuser, air tube & gasket. •2 no.
