RPVOT : Rotating Pressure Vessel Oxidation Stability Test As per ASTM D 2112, D 2272, IP 229, IS:12958-1990:
The Equipment is used to evaluate the oxidation stability of new and in-service engine, turbine and insulating oils in the presence of water and a copper catalyst.

Emcor Rust Test Machine As per IP 220, DIN 51802.
Emcor Rust Test is grease testing machine. It is used to measure the rust preventive capability of Grease.
Salient Features:
Measures the ability of a grease to protect a bearing against corrosion in the presence of water. Two sets of grease-coated bearings per station are partially immersed in water and rotated at a speed of 80 rpm in a sequence of running and resting periods. At end of the test, the raceways of the bearing outer rings are inspected for rust.
Performs both standing and dynamic test of lubricating greases and oils.

Gassing Tendency Apparatus as per ASTM D-2300, BS 5797:1986, IEC 628:1985
This Apparatus measures the tendency of insulating oil / liquids to evolve or absorb gas when subjected in cells having specific geometrics, electrical stress of sufficient intensity to cause an electric discharge through a gas phase in which a gas oil interface is located.
Gassing cell and gas burette assembly is made of borosilicate glass with a relative permittivity of 5 ± 0.2 at 80°C.
Hollow high-voltage electrode-made of centre less-ground and polished ss 304 with SS304 capillary tubing as a gas passage. The electrode is supported by PTFE plug.
Heating device-Constant temperature transparent oil bath with a circulatory, heating and digital control system.
